Travelling is something which can't be described in words, this word s meant to be experienced, when one gets the chance to go on travel to any place somehow and something changes in us. From the very first day when we planned our trip to arranging resources for the trip and the day when we are coming back home, those days we are truly living with ourselves. Living the life of a traveller has its very own rhythm. One moment you can be in a middle of the bustling tourist town and few beats later you can completely escape it all or you can find yourself surrounded by mountains or a few moments later can be at the different place. So if you are truly a traveller or you have a sense of travelling in you then there are some places I will suggest you to must visit. These places are the part of northern India. Travellers are the people who are always in a search of new trails which can feed their soul. So here are top 5 places A passionate traveller must visit in North India.
Also I visited so much places in north india and that's why I want to share some of the experiences of mine with you . I just want that the some of the people might find my Telugu moto vlogging experiences interesting and It might be the possibility that most of the people will be motivated . These are the some of the places that I visited till now in northern India. Northern India is the home for the great Himalayas and in Himalayas is the home for the top 10 highest peaks of the world too like Mt. Eeverest, Makalu , K2 etc. also the Ladakh region in northern India has long range scenic mountains and views too. In Ladakh there are some of the highest passes of the world too like khardung la, umlingla, etc. Thousands of people from all over the world comt to visit this place every year. Every place of India having distance b/w 500 kms have different characteristics, different culture ,different scenic places and different traditions. The scenic views, the culture, the traditions which one will find in the Punjab will be completely different from the which he wil find in the Himachal or uttarakhand or ladakh. So no matter where you go in India you might never find look alike places . Here are some of the places in northern India which I visited and I am going to share what i loved the most there.
1. Amritsar- The Holy city
Amritsar is the city situated in Punjab, India which was founded by Shri Guru Ramdas Ji who was the fourth guru of the Sikh dynasty around the holy golden temple. Amritsar infamous worldwide mainly due to the Golden temple in which there is a temple which is totally carved with gold plating and is situated in the centre of the Sarovar. Amritsar is also famous for its cultural heritage and its food too. People from all over the world come here and visit Amritsar hundred and thousands in numbers every day. Also, there are different areas and places where you can taste or experience different food with a completely different taste.
Places I visited in Amritsar
Jallianwala Bagh- it is famous for its brutal past. At this place on 13 April, 1919 General Dior opened fire on innocent civilians who gathered there for the peaceful protest against the British government to condemn the arrest and deportation of two national leaders, Dr. satyapal and saffudin kitchlu. 1000+ dead and 1500 were injured in this incident. Now the Government has converted this place into martyr memorial and people from all over the world to come to visit this place and give tribute to the people who were shot dead here.
Golden Temple- The largest Sikh shrine situated in the centre of amritsr near jallianwala bagh.
Kesar da Dhaba- The oldest 100+-year-old pure vegetarian restaurant situated in the inner streets of guru bazaar and it is famous for maintaining the same food taste from the century and providing healthy food to the customers.
Wagha Border- This border is situated in town wagha between INDIA-PAKISTAN which is very famous for its retreat ceremony.
2. Leh/Ladakh-Always expect the unexpected.
This place is basically called the Paradise of Earth. It is the place which contains all types of lands from barren lands of Nubra valley and more plains to fields covered with grasslands in Zanskar valley.it also has some of the highest passes in the world like khardung la , Rohtang Pass, Umlingla. This Place attracts many tourist but not the ordinary ones, in fact, the ones who are really a hardcore traveller, the Bike riders.Basically, Delhi to Ladakh is the most popular drives in the world and most of the people cover it with their own bikes which gives the sense of adrenaline in the riders.
Famous Places to visit in Ladakh
LEH- The most popular destination in Ladakh region for which the travellers go for Ladakh is the Leh city, which is situated at the height of approx. 10000 ft. above sea level. It is really a beautiful city with mesmerizing scenery and landscapes. Some of the famous places in Leh local are phyang gompa, Thiksey monastery, Shanti stupa, India Hall of fame and some more.
Pangong Tso- The lake is situated at the height of 4350m and most of its part is in China only 35% of the lake is present in India. It is 134 km long. Travellers and riders not only from India but from all over the world come here to see the scenic beauty of the Pangong Tso. Travellers used to take night stay here and at night there is a great astronomical view of the sky full of stars which is just wonderful.
Nubra Valley- It is one of the most isolated valley in the North Ladakh, Nubra valley. while going towards nubra you'll have to pass through the Khardung la pass which is the world's highest motorable road which is situated at the scenic height of 18832 ft. above sea level, some might suffer from AMS (altitude mountain sickness) here. Nubra will unveil the mesmerizing beauty of itself in front of you when you reach there. Also, you can take a night halt there and may stay at hunder or diskit.
